The Isle of Mull is home to many animal species like the Highland cows, sheep, deer, hare, rabbits, feral goats, red deer, rabbits, hare, hedgehogs and otters. There are over 250 different bird species including the Hen Harrier, Peregrine Falcon, Sparrowhawk, Merlin, Kestrel, Buzzard, Barn, Tawny and Short Ear Owls, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Yellowhammer, Snipe, Woodcock, Greenfinch, Sedge Warbler, Peewit, Curlew, Raven, Hooded Crow, Rock and Pippit, Collared Dove as well as many others. You can also find Golden Eagles and White-tailed Eagles which were reintroduced into the nearby Island of Rum and eventually migrated to Mull.

Mull is much larger than many visitors often realise, it takes at least a day to drive all the way round the island, its spectacular scenery and amazing wildlife are worth the trip. As for the sealife, Minke whales, porpoises, dolphins, seals and otters etc. can be seen by taking one of the many boat trips from the Isle of Mull.
